The latest corporate victim of the coronavirus pandemic is transport company Lime.
According to Techxplore, Lime is pulling its shared electric scooters from nearly two dozen countries, including the United States.
"The COVID-19 virus is an unprecedented challenge facing cities and communities around the world," Brad Bao, the chief executive and founder of Lime stated, the news outlet reported.
"Like you, we are worried about the cities we love and call home, the people we serve, and our colleagues on the ground," he added.
The news site said where the shared scooters will still be available, the company is taking extra precautions including "cleaning all parts of the scooter that are touched by people."
