Islamabad: The Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial has arrived at the Supreme Court and decided to open the doors at 12am as the National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser is yet to allow voting on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan. The court could take strict legal action including Contempt of Court against Khan if the voting is not held today.

The Pakistan government has filed a review petition challenging the 5-member judgement passed to conduct no-confidence motion voting in Assembly on April 09.

Meanwhile, Geo News Pakistan has reported that an important person has been denotified of powers hinting at Army Chief General Bajwa's sacking.

Khan lost his majority in the 342-seat national assembly through defections by coalition partners and members of his own Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party (PTI), and the opposition need just 172 votes to dismiss him.
