Tamil Nadu: Chief of Defence Staff Bipin Rawat was on Air Force helicopter Mi-17 V5 ZP-5164 with his wife along with atleast 4 other senior army officials at the time of crash.
Sources say 11 of the 14 onboard have been declared dead. Atleast 4 senior army officials are dead. 5 crew member were on board. 3 with severe injuries have been rescued and admitted at the Military hospital in Welington.
